Gardens for Heroes – Annapolis MD non-profit organization helping to fund and create therapeutic gardens for veterans with emotional and physical trauma
K9s for Warriors – Is a Florida organization dedicated to providing service canines to our Warriors
Legion Magazine – Offers a blend of military heritage and Canadian history with articles by noted historians and journalists
Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides – A national charitable foundation created by the Lions of Canada to match service dogs to assist Canadians with a medical condition
Mission Butterfly – This organization helps personnel of the military, EMS and firefighters deal with PTSD
National Service Dogs – Is a Canadian organization offering service dogs for veterans and first responders in Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta suffering from PTSD
National Association of American Veterans (NAAV) – Established in 2005 to help those veterans who are wounded, disabled, or single parents, by offering a network of support
National Center for PTSD – This organization is dedicated to research, education and outreach programs for those experiencing trauma and PTSD
Patriot PAWS – Trains and provides service dogs to disabled American veterans with mobile disabilities and PTSD at no cost
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs – Is a government-run military veterans benefit system with Cabinet-level status
Veterans Affairs Canada – Is the department within the Government of Canada with responsibility for pensions, benefits and services for war veterans, retired and still-serving members of the Canadian Forces and Royal Canadian Mounted Police, their families, as well as some civilians
Veterans Transition Network – A charity that delivers programs to struggling veterans across Canada, helping them lead healthy, productive lives reunited with those who care about them
Women Warriors’ Healing Garden – Peer support, counseling, and education for female veterans and first responders living with PTSD
